Following the appointment of Dr Andy Sloan, as Deputy Chief Executive, Strategy at Guernsey Finance, the Commission has made some alterations to its senior management structure.
To ensure more integrated supervision, Fiduciary, Investment and Pensions firms will be supervised for conduct and prudential purposes by one division. This will be known as the Investment, Fiduciary and Pension Division which will also lead on policy work for these sectors.
Senior staff responsibilities have been re-allocated as follows: -
- Emma Bailey is now Director of the Authorisations and Innovation Division.
- Katherine Jane is now Director of Risk and Financial Stability.
- Gillian Browning is now Director of the Investment, Fiduciary and Pension Division.
Commenting on the changes, Director General, William Mason said
"The Commissioners and I felt that Dr Sloan’s move to Guernsey Finance presented us with an ideal opportunity to look across the Commission’s senior management structure to see if changes might usefully be made which would benefit the Commission and individual members of staff as well as our stakeholders. We believe that these changes will ensure that the Commission continues to operate efficiently, will enhance what we do in a number of areas while providing fresh challenges and professional development opportunities for members of my senior team."
The changes have been implemented with effect from 1 September 2018.
