The Decision-Making Process is a staged process which will apply to instances where the Commission proposes the imposition of an enforcement measure or sanction.
The Decision-Making Process was first approved by the Commission in March 2014 and replaced the Decisions Committee Process document dated January 2012. The Decision-Making Process was revised in September 2014, in October 2017, in November 2019, and in November 2021. The latest iteration, dated September 2022, has been released in an effort to further improve on proceedings, and to ensure that matters are dealt with expeditiously. For the avoidance of doubt, all matters going forward are now dealt with under the 2022 process.
