Claridges Trustees Limited and Former Joint Fiduciary Licence Applicants Placed In Compulsory Liquidation

Claridges Trustees Limited, Claridges Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited, First Nominees Limited and Second Nominees Limited were authorised to conduct fiduciary activities under the transitional provisions of the Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administration Businesses and Company Directors, etc. (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2000 by virtue of a joint licence application made in 2001.  This application was refused on 14 December 2007 and as a result the authorisation ended on 11 January 2008.

On 16 January 2008 the Royal Court of Guernsey, on the Commission's application, made an order for the compulsory winding up of all four former joint applicants.  Mrs Nicola Robinson and Mr Rick Garrard of Deloitte and Touche LLP were appointed as joint liquidators.  They can be contacted at P O Box 137, Regency Court, Glategny Esplanade, St Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 3HW (telephone +44 1481 724011).

The companies in liquidation are authorised to carry on regulated fiduciary activities as part of their winding up by or on behalf of the joint liquidators.
