Bogus Banks – Intereurope Bank.com and IMBGroup Bank PLC

The above-named entities have recently come to the Commission's attention. It has been noted from their web sites at www.intereuropebank.com and www.imbgroup.com that it is claimed that the companies have offices in Guernsey and that they are licensed by the Commission.

These claims are false. These entities are not licensed nor have they ever been licensed by the Commission. Furthermore there appears to be no genuine connection with Guernsey.

The wording on these web sites closely follows that contained in similar sites that the Commission has previously issued warnings about. In the circumstance the Commission advises that no-one should have any contact or other dealings with these entities.
