Commission licenses further Innovation Sandbox participant

The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has licensed a further participant through its Innovation Sandbox, marking another milestone in the development of the initiative.
The Innovation Sandbox was established to provide an environment in which businesses can develop and test innovative products, services and business models while engaging closely with the Commission. It forms part of our broader commitment to supporting innovation and ensuring that regulatory frameworks remain responsive to technological and market developments.
The latest licence, for a digital administrator, reflects the continued growth of the Sandbox and demonstrates how the initiative is becoming embedded within the Commission's authorisations framework. Since its launch, the Sandbox has provided a pathway for innovative businesses to engage with us at an early stage, helping firms to identify regulatory considerations while supporting the development of new solutions within appropriate safeguards.
Alison Gavey, Co-Director of Authorisations and Innovation Division of the Commission, said:

The Innovation Sandbox forms part of the Commission's wider Digital Finance Initiative, which includes the Concierge service launched to help businesses better understand the regulatory landscape.
