Landsbanki Guernsey Limited (in administration) - important developments

 
The Guernsey Financial Services Commission fully sympathises with the concerns of depositors in Landsbanki Guernsey Limited (in administration) and their very considerable distress and suffering.  We continue to work long and hard with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for depositors.  
 
Important developments took place yesterday evening in connection with Landsbanki Guernsey.
 
The Court in Guernsey has agreed that the Administrator may make a part-payment equivalent to 30p in the £1 to depositors. In order to seek to ensure that money is repaid to depositors as quickly as possible, the Commission supported the application to the Court made by the Administrators.
