Updated Fast Track Fund Application Forms

19th April 2013

The Commission has undertaken a review of the forms required for fast track fund applications in respect of Non-Guernsey Schemes, Qualifying Investor Funds and Registered Collective Investment Schemes.  The Commission has amended the application forms to ensure that the information requested is consistent where applicable.  Furthermore, the Commission has inserted additional questions in areas which from past experience had caused delays in the turnaround times; however the warranties/declarations in the forms remain the same.

Furthermore, in respect of Non-Guernsey Schemes, Qualifying Investor Funds and Registered Collective Investment Schemes the Commission has dispensed with the requirement for applicants to submit certified true hard copies of the prospectus, offer document or equivalent, constitutive documents and material agreements and would encourage applicants to provide these documents in electronic format such as a CD-ROM or USB disk together with an original signed copy of the application form.

Licensees can start using the amended applications forms, Form REG, Form QIF and Form NGSF from 19 April 2013.  The previous application forms will no longer be accepted by the Commission from Monday 13 May 2013and will be returned to the sender.
