20th October 2014It has recently come to the Commission's attention that GAIA almanac Ltd, a Hungarian company purporting to be an International Register of Trademarks, is approaching businesses following the registering of trademarks in the United Kingdom and requesting a sum of money in return for registration and listing in its 2015 publication.
The purpose of this notice is to caution businesses receiving such correspondence and draw attention to the body of information available online connecting the above firm to bogus trademark and patent publishing scams.
