Digital Forum to Host Roundtable on Digital Asset Custody
8th October 2025
The Commission will host its next Digital Forum roundtable on Wednesday 22 October at 2pm, focusing on Digital Asset Custody. The event will take place at the Commission’s Regency Court offices and is open to representatives of the Bailiwick’s financial services sector and other stakeholders with expertise or interest in this topic.
This session follows previous roundtables on asset tokenisation and stablecoins, during which digital asset custody arose as a relevant topic meriting its own discussion. The meeting will discuss the potential opportunity for digital asset custody activity in the Bailiwick, potential current impediments to this activity, the optimal regulatory landscape for digital asset custody and ancillary activity (e.g. custody of traditional securities underlying digital assets).
To register for a place, visit the Commission's Engagement Hub.
The Digital Forum is a collaborative space for industry leaders, innovators, regulators, and policy thinkers to help shape the future of digital finance in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. As part of the Digital Finance Initiative (DFI), the Forum hosts a series of roundtable discussions focused on emerging technologies, regulatory priorities, and strategic opportunities. These sessions are designed to be open and discursive - bringing together diverse perspectives to inform what the DFI should do next.
