With just over a week to go, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission is preparing to host an All-In AI Sprint event exploring how organisations can prepare for the effective adoption of artificial intelligence.

Data Readiness for AI: Are organisations ready? will take place at the Commission’s Regency Court offices from 9am to 11am on Thursday 29 October.

The session will look beyond individual AI tools to consider the practical conditions required for wider adoption. Topics will include data quality, suitable systems and processes, organisational skills and culture, and the role of robust risk management.

Katherine Jane, the Commission’s Deputy Director General (Risk and Operations), will moderate the panel. Conor Osborough, Director of Technology, will be among the panellists.

The discussion is intended to help organisations consider whether their current foundations are strong enough to support AI and what practical steps may be needed to move from experimentation towards wider use.

The event forms part of All-In, Guernsey’s first island-wide AI Sprint. Through its participation, the Commission is contributing to the wider discussion about useful applications of AI and the conditions needed to adopt them effectively.

Attendance is free. To find out more and register, visit www.ai-sprint.gg
