New Deputy Director of Insurance

22nd September 2011

THE Guernsey Financial Services Commission has promoted Caroline Bradley to Deputy Director of the Insurance Division.

Mrs Bradley joined the GFSC in 2008 after a long career in insurance. Having started out as a graduate trainee with a major UK insurer, she specialised as a loss adjuster, then, on moving to Guernsey, she spent 13 years working in captive management dealing with all types of insurance and reinsurance programmes.

An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Mrs Bradley is a former President of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey.

Her new role will include ensuring that Guernsey continues to comply with the new Insurance Core Principles which are being revised by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.

Nik van Leuven, Director General of the Commission, said: ‘I congratulate Caroline on her promotion.  Her industry experience makes an invaluable contribution to the whole of the Insurance Division.’
