The Commission is recruiting for a Deputy Director of Change and Project Management within the Risk and Operations Division. The successful candidate will act as a key driver for change management initiatives specifically those within the Risk and Operations Division, ensuring the Commission’s technology infrastructure and systems support supervisory effectiveness and innovation and have ‘buy-in’ across the Commission.
The position requires pragmatic and robust decision making and the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent people management skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally across all job levels.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Championing the adoption of new technologies and digital transformation, aligning operating models, behaviours and culture with desired outcomes.
- Overseeing the delivery of change projects, specifically those within the Risk and Operations Division, including allocation of resources, budgeting and use of appropriate project management tools and methodologies for all Three-Year Business Plan projects.
- Leading the planning, execution and embedding of organisational change strategies, ensuring people, processes and culture are aligned to deliver lasting impact. Leading stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and successful delivery of change projects, specifically IT and data focused ones, and initiatives.
- Formulating plans and strategy for achieving change objectives over a performance period and longer, anticipating potential problems and taking pre-emptive action to ensure the delivery of relevant projects and initiatives, specifically IT and data ones.
- Having an in-depth understanding of risk-based supervisory approaches and the PRISM system, leading problem-solving and development in supervisory technology and IT systems. Being a key liaison point with in-house and external suppliers, ensuring effective delivery of technology projects.
- Having an awareness of and leading on the implementation of innovative ideas and technology at the Commission, embedding change management methodologies in project environments.
