The Commission is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our Policy team, supporting the development of the Bailiwick’s regulatory framework for digital finance, and policy implementation of the Finance Sector Strategy 2035 – ‘Driving Growth for Guernsey’. We are recruiting across multiple levels and welcome applications from candidates with a strong interest in financial services policy, innovation, and regulatory development.

These roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the Commission’s work shaping policy in a fast-evolving area, including crypto-assets, blockchain-based business models, and greater global market access.

You will:

  • Support the development and implementation of policy frameworks relating to digital finance.
  • Undertake research and analysis on emerging trends, risks, and regulatory approaches.
  • Contribute to consultation processes and policy publications.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and international counterparts.
  • Provide clear, well-reasoned advice to support decision-making.

We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Sound judgement and an interest in regulatory policy.
  • An understanding of financial services, with exposure to digital finance or emerging technologies.
