Relocating to Guernsey

There are regular flights and ferries to Guernsey from a number of UK and European destinations. Flights from Gatwick Airport can take as little as 40 minutes. There are two airlines that fly to Guernsey, Aurigny and Blue Islands, while Condor Ferries provides ferry links to the UK, France, and Jersey. Their websites give full details of their routes, timetables, and fares.

In order to work in Guernsey, you will need to obtain a Housing Permit; issued by the States of Guernsey. If you are considering moving to Guernsey from outside of the European Union, then a work permit will also need to be issued to allow you to enter the Island. Available rental properties on the Island can be viewed through various Estate Agents. Many of these rental properties are within the Parish of St Peter Port where most offices are based, which makes commuting to work a 10 to15 minute journey in peak hour traffic.
