Launch of Financial Literacy Resources

In May, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (“the Commission”) announced a new partnership in financial literacy with EDUCFI, the French National Financial Literacy Strategy operated by Banque de France, the French central bank. This collaboration aims to promote financial literacy by providing clear, unbiased and high quality educational resources to help the local community better understand financial concepts.

The Commission is pleased to now officially launch this initiative, with the introduction of a dedicated Financial Literacy Resources page on its website. This new section complements the Commission’s existing consumer materials and features a range of accessible, informative content – including educational articles on topics such as Household Debt, Inflation and Deflation, and the 2008 Financial Crisis.
