Sanctions Notice - Terrorism and Terrorist Financing

6th February 2015

Designations made by HM Treasury for the purposes of the Terrorist Asset Freezing etc. Act 2010 are automatically effective for the purposes of the Terrorist Asset-Freezing (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2011, and such designations also cease to have effect automatically under the Law once they are no longer effective under the Act.

The final designation of the HOLY LAND FOUNDATION FOR RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT for the purposes of the Act expired with effect from midnight on Wednesday 4 February 2015. HM Treasury has not renewed this designation.

As a result, the HOLY LAND FOUNDATION FOR RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT is no longer a designated person for the purposes of the Guernsey Law and is no longer subject to financial restrictions.
