The Banking Supervision (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Regulations, 1994 require (s2(2)) that:

"All deposit advertisements (whether or not issued by a licensed institution) must conform to the Code of Conduct of the Association of Guernsey Banks as amended from time to time".

It is an offence to breach this Regulation. The Association of Guernsey Banks has given its permission for the Commission to reproduce their Code of Conduct on Advertising and it appears below in its full text.
