Revision of Laws
24th February 2015On 11 February 2015, the Commission issued a formal consultation paper as part of the Revision of Laws project. The consultation paper includes proposals to amend and revise the Bailiwick's five principal financial regulatory laws: The Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1987; The Banking Supervision (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1994; The Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administration Businesses and Company Directors, etc (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2000; The Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002 and The Insurance Managers and Insurance Intermediaries (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002.
The consultation period runs until 5pm on Friday, 24 April 2015 and is being run via a web-based system known as "Citizen Space". The consultation, including a printable pdf of the consultation paper, can be accessed by following this link http://tinyurl.com/gfsc-revisionoflaws.
