All registered businesses are subject to ongoing supervision by the Registered Businesses Department of the Fiduciary Services Division.  This includes:

• onsite inspections at the office of the registered business. The Registered Businesses Department performs regular inspection visits to registered businesses to enhance the Commission's understanding of the registered business and to review the policies, procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance with the AML/CFT Regulations and Handbook;

• prior notification to the Commission of any change occurring to the information given to the Commission for the purpose of the registration or to any information given thereafter;

• regular completion by registered businesses of questionnaires issued by the Commission for monitoring purposes;

• in the case of prescribed businesses, annual certification to the Commission that the business complies with the requirements of the Regulations, the Handbook and any instructions and notices issued by the Commission.
