For the attention of all Insurance Managers and Insurance Intermediaries 

I am delighted to announce the following changes to the Insurance Division: 

Mike Poulding has been promoted to Deputy Director – International and will be dealing with IAIS, Mutual Recognition, regulatory development etc. Peter Cooke will be returning to the Commission from the IAIS and will be Assistant Director on the International team. We also welcome onto the international team, Gill Birnie who has been seconded from the Policy and International Affairs Division. 

In addition, John Dunford will be joining us as Deputy Director – Supervision and will be responsible for the supervision of insurers and intermediaries. The Intermediaries team will be headed up by David Richings, recently promoted to Assistant Director, and the Insurers team will be headed up by Caroline Bradley. I am also happy to announce that Chris Le Ray has recently been promoted to Senior Analyst.
